Remembering the Sacred Breath

Luckily, we breathe without having to think about it.
However, by bringing our attention to the breath, we have an incredible tool of maintaining presence, always at the ready.
One of the simplest meditation techniques involves focusing on the breath. In and Out.
When we fully turn our awareness to the breath, our mind quiets down.
When practiced well, it becomes that sought-after Off switch for the chattering mind.

A great tool is to hear your breath as an ocean wave coming in…and going out.
As you find this silence and settle in, you may begin to enjoy your own inner wave breathing; coming back to it each day for 5-10 mins or more.
